Tours and Temporary Exhibitions

Through its guided tour programme, The Royal Tapestry Factory offers the opportunity to see weavers at work in its living museum.

The Royal Tapestry Factory’s old workshops enable visitors to travel back in time and learn about anecdotes and fun facts related to the ancestral craft of hand-weaving.

The tours take place at the Royal Tapestry Factory’s headquarters, a Neomudéjar-style building located in the heart of Madrid, close to the area known as Paseo del Arte. Considered as a benchmark of both historical and contemporary decorative arts, the Factory received more than 12,000 visitors in 2018.

In addition to our regular guided tours in the opening hours of the factory, we also offer private guided tours adapted to the needs of our most demanding users.
